Core Values

To understand Baptist Mid-Missions, you must be aware of the bedrock beliefs upon which we build and advance ministry. The following value statements define who we are as an organization and what we aspire to be. These are much more than mere phrases to our missionaries and staff. Together, we embrace them as the standard for our conduct with each other, our ministry partners, and the world of people whom we serve with passion for the glory of Jesus Christ. We value:

Biblical Authority–Ministry is driven by the inspired, inerrant Word of God.

Global Outreach–God wants every person to hear the biblical plan of salvation and to be discipled to fulfill the Lord’s commands.

Passion for God–Missionary service requires zealous devotion and unquestioned obedience to the Godhead.

Integrity–Impacts all facets of missionary life and ministry.

The Centrality of the Local Church–The local church is at the heart of God’s plan for our ministry.

Interdependence–Servant leadership results in vertical and horizontal teamwork.

Faith–Trusting God in all aspects of His work.

Prayer–Faithful communication with God links human effort with Divine power.
